AskSasson.com — Last updated: June 4, 2026
This page contains Nevada-specific insurance and privacy disclosures applicable to residents of Nevada who interact with AskSasson.com or Sasson Emambakhsh as a licensed Nevada insurance producer.
Nevada Producer License
Sasson Emambakhsh is licensed as a resident insurance producer in the State of Nevada under License #4185790. This license authorizes the discussion and placement of life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care insurance, and fixed annuity products for Nevada residents.
You may verify this license at any time through the Nevada Division of Insurance online license lookup or by contacting the Nevada Division of Insurance directly (contact information below).
Producer Compensation Disclosure
Nevada law requires insurance producers to disclose compensation information to applicants prior to or at the time of application. The following disclosures are made in compliance with Nevada insurance law:
- Producer's role: Sasson Emambakhsh acts as an insurance producer. You are entitled to know his role in the transaction — including whether he acts on behalf of you as the consumer or on behalf of any insurer.
- Compensation: Sasson Emambakhsh will receive compensation in connection with the placement of your insurance. This compensation may include commissions, bonuses, or other remuneration from the insurance company. Compensation may vary depending on the insurer and the product placed.
- Timing: This disclosure is provided prior to or at the time of application as required by Nevada law. Oral disclosure may be made initially, but a prominent written disclosure will be provided no later than the time your policy is issued.
- Exact compensation amount: If you request the exact dollar amount of compensation to be received in connection with your specific transaction, that information will be disclosed to you in full upon request.
This compensation structure does not eliminate the obligation to act in your best interest. All recommendations are subject to the best-interest standard described below.
Annuity Best-Interest Standard — R109-23 (MDL-275)
Nevada enforces the NAIC enhanced best-interest model regulation through Nevada Administrative Regulation R109-23 (implementing NAIC Model #275). Under this framework, insurance producers recommending annuity products must act in the best interest of the consumer — without placing the financial interest of the producer above the interest of the consumer.
Before any annuity recommendation is made:
- A reasonable effort will be made to obtain information concerning your financial situation, insurance needs, financial experience, financial objectives, intended use of the annuity, financial time horizon, existing assets (including insurance and annuity contracts), liquidity needs, liquid net worth, risk tolerance, and tax status
- Any product recommended will be suitable and in your best interest based on that information
- Material conflicts of interest will be disclosed
- You will not be pressured or discouraged from seeking information from other sources or from taking time to make a decision
State-Mandated Annuity Disclosure Form (R109-23): For all annuity applications, Nevada law requires that applicants receive the state-approved "Insurance Agent (Producer) Disclosure for Annuities" form. This document must be submitted with all annuity applications and must outline: (1) how the producer is compensated; (2) the types of products the producer is licensed to sell; and (3) the number of insurance companies the producer represents. You will receive this form before or at the time of application — not after.
Important: The educational content on AskSasson.com does not constitute a product recommendation subject to R109-23. Best-interest analysis occurs during individual consultations, not through the general content on this website.
Credit-Based Insurance Scoring — NAC 686A.690
Nevada Administrative Code NAC 686A.690 governs the use of credit information in insurance pricing. If credit information is used in connection with your application:
- You will be disclosed that credit information is being considered in the pricing of your policy
- If your premium is adversely affected (increased) by credit scoring, you have the right to request review of that determination
- Insurers that use credit information are required to respond to Nevada Division of Insurance inquiries regarding credit scoring within 20 working days
Credit-based scoring may not be used to unfairly discriminate. If you have questions about how credit information may affect your premium, contact Sasson Emambakhsh or the issuing carrier directly.
Surplus Lines Disclosure
Some insurance products may be placed with non-admitted (surplus lines) insurers. Nevada law requires written disclosure when a policy is placed with a surplus lines carrier. If your policy is placed with a surplus lines insurer, you will be notified in writing and the following is disclosed:
- The insurer is not licensed by the State of Nevada but is authorized to write surplus lines insurance in Nevada
- Surplus lines insurers are not subject to the same regulatory oversight as admitted carriers licensed in Nevada
- The Nevada Insurance Guaranty Association will NOT cover your claims in the event of insurer insolvency — policyholders of surplus lines (non-admitted) insurers do not have the protection of the Nevada Guaranty Association
Note: The life insurance and annuity products typically discussed on this site are generally placed with admitted carriers. Surplus lines placement is uncommon for these product lines, but this notice is provided as required.
Corporate Governance — Conflict of Interest (Domestic Insurers)
Nevada requires domestic insurers to adopt a Conflict of Interest policy and to annually disclose material relationships of attorneys-in-fact, trustees, managers, officers, and directors. This is an insurer-level obligation, not a producer obligation. However, as a disclosure matter, you are entitled to know that Sasson Emambakhsh is a licensed insurance producer — not an officer, director, or controlling person of any insurer — and has no undisclosed ownership or control relationship with any insurance company whose products he recommends.
Suitability Standard — NRS 683A.0873
Nevada Revised Statute 683A.0873 requires that insurance producers recommending annuity products act in the best interest of the consumer under the circumstances known at the time of the recommendation, without placing the financial interest of the producer above the interest of the consumer. See the Annuity Best-Interest Standard section above for the full disclosure applicable to annuity recommendations.
Replacement of Life Insurance and Annuities
If you are considering replacing an existing life insurance policy or annuity contract with a new policy or contract, Nevada law requires specific disclosures to ensure you understand the potential consequences of replacement, including:
- Loss of benefits under the existing policy (e.g., waiver of premium, accidental death benefit, favorable premium rates)
- Potential new contestability and suicide exclusion periods
- Possible surrender charges under the existing contract
- Tax consequences of surrender
A formal Replacement Notice will be provided as required by Nevada Administrative Code if a replacement transaction is considered. Do not cancel an existing policy or contract until a new policy or contract is in force.
Nevada Privacy Rights — NRS 603A
Nevada Revised Statute Chapter 603A (Nevada Privacy Law) grants Nevada residents the following rights with respect to their personal information:
- Right to know: You may submit a verified request to know what personal information we have collected about you
- Right to deletion: You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., records required by law or for ongoing business relationships)
- Right to opt out of sale: You may opt out of the sale of your covered personal information. We do not sell personal information.
- Right to correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information
To exercise any of these rights, contact Sasson Emambakhsh directly at [email protected] or (702) 970-3811. We will respond to verified requests within 60 days as required by NRS 603A.
Nevada Consumer Data Privacy — SB 220
Nevada Senate Bill 220 amended NRS 603A to require operators of websites or online services to provide consumers with an opt-out mechanism for the sale of covered information. As stated above, we do not sell covered information collected through this website. No opt-out is required, but you may contact us at any time to confirm this practice or to exercise your NRS 603A rights.
